Accepted materials

We accept the following materials at our Township Office, which is located at 6404 Joliet Rd in Countryside:

  • Soda can tabs for Ronald McDonald House. Click HERE for flyer.
  • Used Eye glasses, Hearing Aids, Printer Cartridges & Phones for Lions Club. Click HERE for flyer.
  • Cords & Wires (phone, computer, electrical) for SCARCE
  • Holiday Lights for SCARCE
  • Keys (house, luggage, car) for SCARCE
  • Corks (natural only, no plastic) for Go Green La Grange
  • American Flags – worn and tattered flags for proper disposal through the local American Legion Post.

Non-accepted materials

  • We do not accept batteries at this time. Here is a list of place that accept batteries. Click HERE for flyer.
  • We do not accept electronics at this time. Burr Ridge has electronics recycling year-round. Click HERE for flyer.
